The main reason for the establishment of EME Zrt. (First Mobile Payment Clearing Private Co. Ltd.) was to develop payment solutions connected to mobile phones (micro- and macro-payment), and to spread these new methods in the Hungarian and in the international markets.

As the first step, we launched the first, country-wide, mobile phone parking system in Hungary on 1 June, 2006. We did it by unifying and improving the system, previously working in the areas covered by Budapesti Önkormányzati Parkolási Kft. (Budapest Municipal Parking Ltd.) and Centrum Parkoló Kft. (Center Parking System Ltd.), which could be reached in different ways by sending text messages or making phone calls. At present, our 30.000 clients can already pay the parking fee with the help of their mobile phones in 16 towns all over the country and in all the districts of Budapest. This service is not only comfortable and flexible, but it is also a cost effective - paid by the minute - parking solution for both private individuals and companies.

With the needs of our clients in view, we are constantly improving our systems connected to this service and increasing the area covered by it.

We have been working on a special macro-payment solution that could replace the currently generally accepted macro-payment method, the usage of credit cards.
